La banda inicia su historia cuando Robert Roth's, estaba en busca de una nueva banda, luego que en la que participaba se habia disuelto, postulo incluso a segunda guitarra de Nirvana, pero no dio resultado, luego de un periodo conoce a Mark Pickerel, quien tocaba en la banda Screaming Trees, pero el no estaba conforme con la banda asi que decide dejarla y asi se une a Robert, ambos comienzan a gabar unas caciones que pertenecian Roth's con estos temas entraron en conversacion son Sub Pop quienes los invitaron a grabar su primer EP, pero faltaba un integrante y sonido a la banda, por ello llamo a su amigo Hiro Yamamoto Ex Soundgarden para que se uniera a la banda y asi establecer Truly realmente, en la actualidad la banda se encuentra activa pero no publicamente, pero estan preparando un nuevo disco, sin fecha ni mas informacion.
