The Breeders es una banda de rock alternativo formada en 1988 por Kim Deal de Pixies y Tanya Donelly de Throwing Muses. Su segundo álbum, Last Splash, alcanzó el puesto número 33 en la lista Billboard 200 de 1993. Entre 1994 hasta 1999, The Breeders estuvo inactivo.
